Craft Room move!

June 25, 2018

Have you ever moved your office/craft room?

After having a retired sale in my formal living room. I had an almost empty room. I decided it was time to move my Craft/Office down to that room. It is a room in our home that is never used. I was preparing for a stamp camp on a little 2 x 3 table with my friend and fellow demonstrator Lisa and we were very crowded in the craft/office. My husband was in agreement. I think he likes it because I don't have a door and I am more accessible to him. I am learning to ignore him really well. It is working really well so far and I have lots of room. I gained two double windows and lost wall space. I had drawn a diagram of where everything would fit and yet I still changed a couple of things as we got it in the room. I purchased a new desk and a new work table. They are both the same table and I got them as Costco. I love them because they are adjustable with the touch of a button. I like to stand when I work because then I am already on my feet and if I need something across the room I feel like it's no big deal to walk over and get it.

It's been a couple of days and I have prepared for a stamp camp in my new room. I am still learning where I put things but it seems to function pretty well. I am still not sure that I don't want a table in the middle of the room but I will know as time goes on. For now I love the space.

Happy Stampin!

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
