April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives 4-6

April 28, 2025

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers.  The papers were so beautiful and the kit included Nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card.  When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts.  I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there.  Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

Card #4 This card was fun to create. If you follow me you will see that I have created several of this same card using different backgrounds.  The background on this one came from the Paper Pumpkin kit as did the little flowers.  I used the Linked Together Dies to cut them from the card panel in the kit

I love the softness of the Fresh Freesia and Pool Party.

You will find the measurements and products used in the Free Project Sheet below

Card #5 uses the retired Split Card Textures Dies. These have remained in my stash and I will continue to use them. The die cut for the greeting came from the Paper Pumpkin Add On Dies Hugs Abloom. This card focuses on the leaves that came from the kit.  You will find the measurements and products used in the Free Project Sheet below

Card # 7 uses Berry Burst.  I hardly ever use Berry Burst but it coordinates with this Paper Pumpkin.  I used the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder, but be sure to stamp your little butterflies before embossing!

The ovals are cut from the two sets of dies we had in the past, Layering Ovals & Ovals Collection. The flowers came from the Paper Pumpkin Kit

This card uses the beautiful new Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection to create a fun Backbend Easel Card. This is one of the many Suites that are on sale during the month of June 2025.

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Be sure to download the Free Project Sheet for all the measurements.

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. You will find all these products listed below along with Free Project Sheet.

Below is a Free Project Sheet which will give you all the instructions you need to create this beautiful card. No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold
