Textured Notes

March 12, 2025

This is the card that I planned for my Wake Up Wednesday video today. This card uses the beautiful Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper, Memorable Blooms Dies and Textured Notes Dies. Accents of Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss and Basic White.

However, this is the one I started with when I was deciding what to do.  This is Basic Gray, Basic White and Notes and Woven Textures Designer Series Paper. The image is stamped in Smoky Slate and colored with Old Olive and Gray Watercolor Pencils and blended with a Blender Pen.

This one was also made using Crumb Cake for the card base adding Basic White, Crumb Cake & Pebbled Path accents. The stems were cut from Charming Duck Pond Dies. The designer series paper came from Woven Textures. Adding a little of the 2023-25 In Color dots and a knot from the Pebbled path ribbon was a perfect finish

This one is a little more feminine using the same products. For this one I used Moody Mauve for the card base and the Designer Series Paper is Timeless Plaid. I love this plaid it covers such a variety of occasions.  On this one I used a retired paper for two of the stems.  One is cut from Vellum (retired), one from Moody Mauve and the last one is cut from what I believe is Powder Pink (retired). I used the Silver & White Sheer Ribbon for my bow and added the Clear & Pecan Pie Ribboned Dots.

My final card with this layout is my favorite.  As I was getting ready for my FB Live I was cleaning off my desk.  I had played with the Storybook Garden Bundle the day before and this pot was laying on my desk.  It was colored with Calypso Coral light then highlighted with Cajun Craze. I also had the stems laying on my desk. When the others were cut from the Charming Duck Pond dies these were left.  I had cut the DSP from Woven Textures to try to use on a card.  The Crumb Cake card base was left from the other card.  This is my favorite one.

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Be sure to download the Free Project Sheet for all the measurements.

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. You will find all these products listed below along with Free Project Sheet.

No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions
