Who says Christmas cards have to be red and green? Today’s card combines black, white, and silver for an elegant winter look, with a fun fold that makes it extra special!

I created this card using the Snowflake Kisses Bundle and Shimmering Stripes Designer Series Paper. I love how the Shimmering Stripes Designer Series Paper provides a beautiful backdrop for the silver snowflake. It’s a combination that catches the light and adds just the right amount of holiday sparkle.

The black panels embossed with Forever Plaid Embossing folder gives the card depth and detail while letting the white layers stand out. A layer of snowflake-patterned paper peeks through between the panels, adding another touch of winter charm.

For the focal point, I layered the shimmering circle over a white scalloped circle, then added the silver snowflake with a sparkling gem in its center. A black ribbon bow finishes the focal point and ties everything together.

The “let it snow” sentiment looks so pretty on on the greeting tag cut from Snowflake Kisses. A few sparkling embellishments add the finishing touches without taking attention away from that beautiful snowflake.

Of course, the fun fold adds its own little surprise! I enjoy making cards that are as fun to open as they are to display, and this design gives the recipient something a little unexpected.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope this card inspires a little sparkle in your holiday crafting! Be sure to download the FREE PROJECT SHEET below
