A Paper Pumpkin Thank you!

March 7, 2018

Some of these products came from the February Paper Pumpkin

This card was created with the help of our Monthly Subscription kit "Paper Pumpkin." Paper Pumpkin is like receiving a surprise in the mail each month. It is a kit with all the products and the instructions to make whatever is inside. Most of the time it is a set of cards. Occasionally it is a 3-dimensional item. We never know what it is until we get it. In February we some of received the products used to make this cute card. It is not the card that was intended for this kit. I like to take it apart and use it for other ideas. I used One Big Meaning stamp set to create a Thank You card.

MEASUREMENTS:
Whisper White - 4 1/4 x 11 (scored at 5 1/2), 3 1/8 x 4 1/2
Flirty Flamingo - 4 x 5 1/4
Paper Pumpkin - 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 (Black)
Basic Black - 1 1/8 x 2
Vellum - 1 x 3
Sweet Soiree DSP - 5/8 x 3 1/2

In Color Enamel Shapes - I found out after using these that they had retired. They were available last year so if you have some laying around this is a good time to use them. No wonder they were such a good price when I purchased them.

If you have been following me you know that I love the Berry Burst Metallic Edge ribbon that came out recently. Well here is a way to have every color with that metallic edge!! Purchase a roll of the Whisper White with Silver edge ##144213 or the Very Vanilla with the Gold edge #144146 and use either the Stampin' Blends (which are alcohol based makers) or the Stampin' Write Markers (which is what I used here) and color the ribbon. The markers take a little longer to dry so if you plan ahead you could color today and attach the bow tomorrow or before you send the card. This ribbon works so well for this technique!

Happy Stamping!

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
