Catalog Kick Off

June 10, 2018

A fun celebration of the new Stampin' Up Catalog!

Last night and this morning I had my Catalog Kick Off events! Full of fun, food and prizes!
I always forget to take pictures at these events. I guess it is because I am so busy and focused on the event and all the wonderful ladies that attend.

Many of you asked about the food! The salad was an Asian Salad from Costco. I purchased a case of the canned Mandarin Oranges and drained them overnight. I wanted all the syrup to drain off, and added them to the salad. Everything else was in the bag.

The cake recipe came from a good friend and club member Carol Dickey. We had it at one of our clubs and she told me it was really simple.
I can do all kinds of things with paper but when it comes to cooking, if it has to go in the oven, forget it! This is so easy that even I can make it!

1 Betty Crocker Angel Food Cake Mix
1 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple

Yes that is all the ingredients! Nothing else!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Use a 9 x 13" pan and spray with cooking oil like Pam
Put the Angel Food Cake Mix in a large bowl (you need lots of room for expansion)
Dump the can of crushed pineapple in juice and all
Mix well!
Pour into the oiled pan and put it in the oven for 25 minutes at 350 degrees!

Wait 25 minutes to cool and eat! I topped it with Whipped Cream, Strawberry, raspberry and a few blueberries. All which are not necessary they were just to make it look beautiful. You can do the same thing and use any pie filling mix and change the flavor of you wish!

Enjoy! & Happy Stamping!

I will be posting my projects over the next couple of days!

Create a sweet and elegant birthday card with the July 2026 Paper Pumpkin – Hooray for Birthdays kit! For this alternate design, I paired the soft pastel plaid patterns in a simple pinwheel layout on a Basic Black card base, creating a striking contrast that really makes the delicate florals stand out. The layered die-cut flowers are arranged on a stitched circle with a touch of gold cord tucked behind for added texture and elegance. A simple Happy Birthday sentiment finishes the design, making this card perfect for celebrating someone special. This easy alternate project is a wonderful way to stretch your Paper Pumpkin kit supplies and create a beautiful card with a fresh, modern look.
