Catalog Kick-Off Behind the scenes

There is a lot that goes into the Catalog Kick-Off for me. I want everyone to have a great time and see the new product Stampin’ Up has to offer for the 2017-18 year. It starts at Sale-A-Bration time. I begin looking at what sets my customers are selecting for their free product. What are the most popular things. When I place my demonstrator orders for product for my classes I intentionally select the free product that I want to be giving away later in the year. I watch for things on the clearance rack and carefully examine my purchases. Sometimes I will purchase a product that I don’t think I will use and know that I can use it for Catalog Kick-Off.

I believe that a gift should be beautifully wrapped. Sometimes it is not so much the gift as it is all about the wrapping. I know at Christmas we have a party and the theme is “All About the Wrapping” the gift is a $5 item. It is all about who can wrap it the most beautifully. This year I needed to come up with a new design so I created a bag from a single sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper to put the stamp sets in. I showed that in my previous post.

These were the Survival kits for the new catalogs. They each contained a 2 x 2 Post It note (decorated of course) A Hershey’s candy bar and a pen with a daisy tied to the lid.
