No Air Conditioning!

I came home from my final Catalog Kick-Off on last Friday to discover that my air conditioning in my home had gone out! We have had temperatures of 107 – 108 for the last 5 days with no air conditioning. Typically in the Sacramento area we get a wonderful delta breeze at night and it cools everything off so nicely. Sorry no delta breeze for us. It has been 90 degrees at 11:00 at night. My home has reached a high of 98 degrees inside, most afternoons. But there is help on the way! Friday morning at 6:30am the new air conditioner will arrive!!! So Friday night we will sleep. It is so hard to sleep when it is that hot and there is nothing refreshing about sleeping in the heat. You just wake up tired and drained. We have spent a lot of time in the pool but it isn’t even refreshingly cool now because of the high temperatures; it has become a tepid bath. Now I am done venting, how about a cute card?

This is one of my Catalog Kick-Off cards. Each of the cards I created were in one of the new In Colors. This one is in Tranquil Tide and uses the Eastern Palace Suite. It took me a while to purchase that suite (2 months!) but now that I have played with it, I love it! I know it is one that I will use over and over.
