CHRISTMAS CARD BOX

This is a fun box that you can fill with Christmas Cards, or any cards as a Christmas gift. Give it before Christmas to a friend or fill it with cards for them to use throughout the year. You could use it as a box for goodies as well. The finished box size is 5 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 1 1/4.


Cut 12 x 12 cardstock of your choice to 12 x 8 1/4, with 12" side at top score at 4 1/2, 5 3/4, 10 1/4 & 11 1/2, turn and
score at 1 1/4 & 7

Cut corners according to the image below

Round the corners of the 1/2 inch section at the top of the box
I have provided a video below to help you with the assembly of the box but before assembling decorate the box.


On the box above I used the following measurements for the decorative pieces:

Cut (2) 4 3/8 x 5 1/2 Real Red cardstock (one for front of box, one for back, adhere to back and front
Cut (2) 4 1/8 x 5 1/2 Designer Series Paper, adhere to Real Red cardstock
Cut (1) 5 1/4 x 1 Real Red cardstock, adhere to top flap of box
Cut (1) 5 x 3/4 Designer Series Paper, adhere to Real Red cardstock
Cut (2) 4 3/8 x 1 Real Red cardstock, adhere to front sides of box
Cut (2) 4 1/8 x 3/4 Designer Series Paper, adhere to Real Red cardstock

Die cut greeting tag from Labels Aglow Dies, stamp with Real Red
Finish off with a ribbon wrapped around and some bling on the tag.

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
