Quilted Christmas Suite

September 1, 2017

Stampin' Up! has provided videos for us to share with you to introduce you to the products in the new Holiday Catalog. In the videos they will show you the product and give you some ideas on how to use it. Below the video is at least one project or card that I made with the products. I hope you will continue to visit me to get great ideas for the coming holidays. I am going to try to post one at least every 3 days so keep checking back!

My project was an 8 x 8 frame to hang in your home during the holidays.

Start with an 8 x 8 Garden Green. Cut a 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 Gold Foil and then layer a 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 Real Red on top of that.
Cut 4 sheets of Whisper White 3 x 3 then using the Christmas Quilt design die cut out the frame. Discard the little pieces inside. On this one the only part you want is the frame.
Cut a 3 x 3 in each of the following colors: Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green and Wild Wasabi. Then cut the Christmas Quilt design. Keep the little pieces and discard the frame (or keep it for something else).
Cut a piece of Whisper White 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Use this to mount your design on.
Adhere them to the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White using the NEW Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. Start with the Whisper White Frames. This will make it much easier to attach all those little pieces in the patchwork quilt.
Create a pattern for your quilt and attach the shapes.
Attach one of the new Foil Snowflakes to the center of the quilt.
Cut Whisper White with the Stitched Shapes Dies and stamp with Cherry Cobbler. This greeting came from Watercolor Christmas which has several large greetings. Finish it off with Gold Faceted Gems.

I have listed the products below to reproduce my project. If you have any questions or I can help you please be sure to contact me.

Today I wanted to show you how you can used this fun stamp & die set and not use the Designer Series Paper. I love the coordinating Designer Series Paper but I think there are about a million posts on the interned showing how to use the DSP so I wanted to reach outside the box and use something else. I selected the wood grain DSP from Beautiful Gallery and I love the way it came out. Be sure to download the free Project Sheet below

This card uses the beautiful new Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection to create a fun Backbend Easel Card. This is one of the many Suites that are on sale during the month of June 2025.

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Be sure to download the Free Project Sheet for all the measurements.

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. You will find all these products listed below along with Free Project Sheet.

This is one of the brand new bundles from Stampin' Up! I love the way it looks. The set just arrived this morning and I couldn't wait to play with it. Below is a Free Project Sheet which will give you all the instructions you need to create this beautiful card. If you don't have this bundle you can purchase it by clicking on the product below or use something you have in your stash.

No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold
