Easter Lily

April 1, 2017

Easter will be here before we know and I wanted to share with you some Easter ideas. So here is the first one. Since Easter is so close I will be sharing the measurements and products that I used with a little instruction.

This will be the theme of my posts for the next 10 days. I hope you are ready for some cute projects!

I started with the Stampin’ Up! set Easter Message on page 19 of the Occasions Catalog
I cut my cardstock as follows: Whisper White 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, 5 x 3 3/4, 3 x 4 and Pool Party at 5 1/4 x 4, 3 x 4 this is for the scallop oval.

Stamp the Easter Lily image on the 3 x 4 Whisper White with Jet Black Stazon. Color the flower using Blender Pens with Pear Pizzaz & Daffodil Delight. Use a little Wink of Stella to give it some bling.

Cut the flower out using the Stitched Shape Framelits. Cut the scallop oval out of the 3 x 4 Pool Party with the Layering Oval Dies. Use the scrap to punch the Bitty Butterfly. Sponge the edges of the butterfly and color with Wink of Stella. I used the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon that I had left over but you could also use the 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon. Finish off with 2 pearls on the butterfly.

This is probably the quickest and easiest one I did. So if you are looking to make a lot of cards this is one that would be ideal.

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
