FRESH CUT FLOWERS

September 10, 2022

I did a video on this last week on my Facebook live but the sound on the video was so bad that I could not use it. So this card does not have a video to see how I put it together but is was such a fun and easy card that I thought I would go ahead and post it anyway.  I used the Fresh Cut Flowers Bundle (#162519) which is only available as a bundle through September 30, 2022.

Measurements:
Cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Sahara Sand, score at 4 1/4
Cut 5 1/4 x 4 Soft Succulent, adhere to inside of card
Cut 5 x 3 3/4 Basic White, adhere to inside of card

Cut 5 1/4 x 4 Basic White, adhere to front of card
Cut 5 1/8 x 4 1/16 (yes it is a little larger than the Basic White) using the edgelet die in the bundle cut the edge of this layer.
Cut 5 x 2 Splendid Day Designer Series Paper, adhere to the right side of the Soft Succulent layer

Cut 3 1/4 x 5 Basic White, stamp the flower image in Tuxedo Black Momento, color leaves with Soft Succulent. To color the flowers I used a Mint Macaron light Stampin' Blend, scribbled on a clear block, spritzed it with Rubbing Alcohol, blended it and picked it up the color with Wink of Stella. I did the same technique with the Crumb Cake for the bottom leaves

Wrap Sahara Sand Baker's Twine around the stem and adhere on the back. Tie a bow and attach with a glue dot, attach the whole image to the card front using Dimensionals

Die cut the branch in Sahara Sand, tuck behind the flower image

Cut 3/4 x 1 1/2 Basic White, stamp greeting from Soft Seedlings in Tuxedo Black, flag the right edge

Cut 4" Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon, fold in half and attach to the back of the greeting, adhere to card front

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
