GOOD MORNING MAGNOLIA - HELLO

This card is very simple. The DSP does all the work. This card is great to cover a piece of paper that may be just a little short. It is great for scraps. You could even use three strips of DSP. The knot is tied in the ribbon so the tails are what you wrap around the card. The strip of Petal Pink in the middle serves two purposes. It makes the ribbon appear more solid and it covers where the two pieces of DSP come together so if they don't match it is covered. You could do this with any papers that coordinate and have a quick and easy card.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • To make it easier for you I have included a piece of 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Whisper White. Adhere the DSP
  • to that Whisper White. If it doesn't go all the way to the top or bottom leave a gap in the middle.
  • Attach the Petal Pink 1/2" strip across where the two papers meet. This will hide any problems.
  • Tie a knot in the ribbon about 1/3 of the way across and wrap it around the DSP layer that you just created
  • Stamp the greeting with Mossy Meadow and die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies
  • Punch the back layer for the circle in the Petal Pink with the Starburst Punch
  • Layer it onto the Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink and the Whisper White card base
  • Finish off with a Frosted Flower Embellishment

Today I wanted to show you how you can used this fun stamp & die set and not use the Designer Series Paper. I love the coordinating Designer Series Paper but I think there are about a million posts on the interned showing how to use the DSP so I wanted to reach outside the box and use something else. I selected the wood grain DSP from Beautiful Gallery and I love the way it came out. Be sure to download the free Project Sheet below

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Be sure to download the Free Project Sheet for all the measurements.

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. You will find all these products listed below along with Free Project Sheet.

No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold
