How to Create A Flying Seagull Card

To create this fun card I used the Sweet Citrus Bundle #160645 from the 2023 January - April Mini Catalog.


Measurements:
Using 8 1/2 x 11 Thick Basic White, with 11" side at top score at 2 1/4, 4 & 6 1/4, cut just a hair shy of 8 3/8, turn 90 degrees and cut at 4 1/4 you will end up with two pieces for this card

Number the panels 1- 4 on each piece with # 2 being the smallest (1 3/4) panel
Cut 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Thick Basic White Basic White
5 1/2 X 4 1/4 Basic White for lime images, stamp in Parakeet Party, then cut & emboss using the Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies (watch the video for these instructions)
Cut 4 x 4 Calypso Coral, adhere to 4 1/4 x 4 1/2 Thick Basic White
Cut 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 Whisper White adhere to Calypso Coral
Cut (2) 2 x 4  Parakeet Party Glimmer from the 2022-24 In Color Glimmer Paper
Cut (2) 1 1/2 x 4 Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper
Cut 1 1/4 x 3 7/8 Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper for the font of the card

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
