HYDRANGEA HAVEN CARD KIT, CARD #1

March 13, 2021

This is the first of a series of 10 cards, one will post each day for the next 10 days. Be sure to return to see what I have posted each day.


This card shows the simplicity of the using the Designer Series Paper to create a beautiful card. This card is so easy to create and you could get 4 cards from a sheet of DSP and have some left over to create with. I used a little Wink of Stella to make the flowers glisten

MEASUREMENTS

Cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Whisper White, score at 4 1/4

Cut 5 1/4 x 4 Seaside Spray, adhere to card base

Cut 4 7/8 x 3 5/8 Whisper White, adhere to Seaside Spray

Cut 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper, stamp the greeting in the top right

corner, glue to Whisper White layer

Add Wink of Stella on the flowers & Pearls in the top left corner

Cut 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White for inside

Cut 5 1/4 x 1/2" strip of the DSP and adhere to the bottom of the White, stamp a greeting before attaching this to the card

SWEETER WITH YOU DOUBLE Z FOLD CARD

PRAIRIE GRASS & BEAUTIFUL GALLERY SYMPATHY CARD

I’m thrilled to share how I created a simple yet stunning sympathy card using the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper and the Prairie Grass Stamp Set. The delicate patterns from the Designer Series Paper perfectly complemented the graceful prairie grass images, giving the card an elegant touch during such a heartfelt time. Some days these blog posts go so smooth I think I can do them in my sleep, other days everything goes crazy! This was one of those days. It's finally done! This card was CASED from Rachel Tessman with the change of several things. Of course that is allowed in the stamping world. We take each other's ideas and change them to our own liking and republish them. There are so many ideas out there to share. This is another one of the cards that I did with my clubs this month. It looks complicated but it really isn't and comes out to be a fun card to give. Be sure to watch the video if you are making the card.
