Loving My New Site

September 6, 2017

I know most of you don't see the changes in my site but I have changed once again and I hope this is the last time. Thankfully I am able to keep my Stamp With Deb address. So last week my site started dragging. It wasn't loading well and when it did it was dragging. My daughter took a look at what was going on (She is my web designer Get Out There Media.com ) and it was bogged down by the photos. My site is based on photos so I had to do something. She asked me to take a look at a new website builder. We played around with a test site and on Thursday of last week she went to work on converting my site. I am amazed at what she pulled off. In less than a week all of the things on my old site were moved over and cleaned up (if you know anything about websites things never change from one site to another without some problems). She was gone for a couple of days so we put the launch on hold until she returned and last night we launched the new site. It makes me think of when they launch a new ship. Only thing is I don't want to break a bottle of wine on my computer. I think I will pass on that part. It is so easy to do my blog posts and I learned lots of new things in the process. I just love my new site.

Christmas is coming and during all this change the new Holiday Catalog also launched. If you don't have one yet please contact me and I would love to send you one. Just indicate it in the comments and I will get back to you.

Today I wanted to show you how you can used this fun stamp & die set and not use the Designer Series Paper. I love the coordinating Designer Series Paper but I think there are about a million posts on the interned showing how to use the DSP so I wanted to reach outside the box and use something else. I selected the wood grain DSP from Beautiful Gallery and I love the way it came out. Be sure to download the free Project Sheet below

This card uses the beautiful new Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection to create a fun Backbend Easel Card. This is one of the many Suites that are on sale during the month of June 2025.

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Be sure to download the Free Project Sheet for all the measurements.

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. You will find all these products listed below along with Free Project Sheet.

Below is a Free Project Sheet which will give you all the instructions you need to create this beautiful card. No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold
