MARCH 2020 CALENDAR

Mar 12, 2019

St. Patrick's Day focus

It was nice to see that Stampin' Up! came out with a clover this year. The stamp set "Amazing Life" was featured in the Occasions Catalog and includes a variety of greetings and images.

I came down with the flu in early March and I knew I had a stamp camp on the first Saturday. I had designed and cut all of the projects except the calendar page. As I was resting and preparing for stamp camp I had this image in my mind as the one I wanted to use. I was just going to stamp a row of clovers on each side with the good luck in the middle. I was running out of time and it was Friday night. I had class on Saturday morning for 45 people and I needed to pack. So I needed something quick and simple. As I took 5 minutes to play with this idea, I thought about the new Doily Builder Thinlits.

Cardstock:
Shaded Spruce - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 score at 7 1/4"
Whisper White - 7 x 5 1/4
Call Me Clover - 6 3/4 x 5
Whisper White Calendar page - 6 1/2 x 4 3/4

Stamp the greeting and the clover on the calendar page at the top in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink. Color the greeting using the light and dark Call Me Clover Stampin' Blends. Color the clovers alternating the light and dark.Die cut the wreath from the Call Me Clover (it will be hidden between two sheets of cardstock). Tie a bow with Call Me Clover 1/8" Grossgrain Ribbon. I added a little Call Me Clover Enamel Dot from the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the center of each clover.

The calendar is one that I created and print out each month. If you are interested in joining my calendar club. Please email me for more information.

This is the most adorable stamp set! The characters are so cute you won't want to miss out on this one. It also has dies that coordinate with it to make it even more adaptable.

The Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack makes amazing, quick and easy cards. Just create a card layout of your choice, add complimentary Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the flower image you chose and you are well on your way to creating a beautiful card. You will need a few basics to take your card to the next level. Here I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies, Eyelet Embossing Folder & Natures Sweetness Designer Series Paper. The greeting came from So Sincere.

For this one I used Summer Splash the last of the five colors in the 2024-26 In Color Collection. I used Trusty Tools Bundle and Happy Little Things to bring this color to life. This coordinates well with Pool Party, as suggested by the name, and Pretty Peacock.

This is the fourth of the five new 2024-26 In Colors Petunia Pop. I love this color and it fits in well with our color families. Here I have added Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia to the card as accents. I did partial die cutting using the Simply Zinnia Bundle and the Stampin' Cut Machine.
