Mother’s Day Bag
Today’s post is about an adorable and easy little bag and two cards that you can make to give to someone as a gift. I made this little bag and the cards at an Upline meeting. Janice Urke, my upline, had us create this at our team meeting. I loved it so much that I did it with my downline. I have seen directions for this bag all over the internet and Pinterest.
Here are the measurements:
Designer Series Paper – 10 x 10 score @ 2 1/8 & 7 7/8, rotate 1/4 turn and score at 4 1/4 & 5 3/4
Complimentary cardstock – (2) 2 1/2 x 5 3/4 (top of bag), 5/8 x 11(handles), 1 x 3 (tag)
It really doesn’t take a lot of prep work because there are only a few pieces to it. The rest of the cardstock is for embellishing the bag. If you chose to put the So Detailed cut out, you will need to cut 2 from that set of dies. If you decide to decorate with the flower I used the So Succulent dies to create that flower. One of each size and then an additional one of the two smallest ones for the tag.
Here are the products I used. I included the So Detailed Thinlit that I used on the sample I made in the video.
