New Stampin' Up! Card Keeper Kit

Yesterday I received the NEW Stampin' Up! Card Keeper Kit.  Those of you who know me know that I never put kits together the way Stampin' Up! suggests.  If you are a new stamper, this is a great kit for you.  The kit includes 10 cards (5 of each design) with matching envelopes beautiful gold die cut leaves, green die cut leaves, greetings and vellum circle die cuts. Of course they have included Dimensionals and glue dots to use for creating your cards. 


The box is absolutely beautiful with shimmery leaves on the outside and a clean Night of Navy dotted pattern on the inside. It is really easy to assemble and is sturdy.  I will be using mine for cards that I create during the year that I want to send to a particular person at a later time.


I did create some alternate cards using the products that came in the kit and a few alternates.  This kit does NOT include any stamps so you will want to have some greetings on hand if you run out of the ones provided, or need a specific greeting for a specific person.

This was the first card that I created with the products in the Card Keeper Kit. I only used a portion of one of the cards. I added Flirty Flamingo & Basic White cardstock.  The greeting came from So Sincere. I also used the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and the Everyday Details Dies.


On this one I used just the little piece that was remaining after cutting the first card.  I added Night of Navy to draw that color out of the card front. I also included a scrap of Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo to compliment the card piece. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies for the greeting. In this one I used more products from the kit. Adding the gold leaves and the vellum circle.  I finished off with gold cord and bling.

Some days these blog posts go so smooth I think I can do them in my sleep, other days everything goes crazy! This was one of those days. It's finally done! This card was CASED from Rachel Tessman with the change of several things. Of course that is allowed in the stamping world. We take each other's ideas and change them to our own liking and republish them. There are so many ideas out there to share. This is another one of the cards that I did with my clubs this month. Today I wanted to show you how you can used this fun stamp & die set and not use the Designer Series Paper. I love the coordinating Designer Series Paper but I think there are about a million posts on the interned showing how to use the DSP so I wanted to reach outside the box and use something else. Metallic Textures Rub Ons

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store .
