Noel Christmas Card
Card #9
This card is easy to do. Card base is cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4 and folded in half. The front sheet is Whisper White cut at 5 1/4 x 4. You won't want to cut it much smaller or the dies will cut off the edge and it won't look right.
Before you do any cutting be sure to do the stamping.
Stamp the stars from Night of Bethlehem in VersaMark and emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Heat until they have are smooth.
Stamp the city from Night in Bethlehem in Smokey Slate.
Stamp Joseph, Mary and the Shepherd in Night of Navy. Be sure that your Night of Navy Pad is well inked and let it sit on your paper so the ink will soak into the cardstock. Take your time stamping these.
Once you have stamped them and they have dried you will use the Large Letter Framelits to cut the Noel out of the cardstock that you just stamped on. Keep all the parts because you are going to put them back into place.
Adhere the Whisper White to the card base.
I tried using dimensionals the first time I did it and I didn't get the effect I wanted so I used Foam Adhesive Strip.
Put the letters back into their places.
On the O you will place the center back in the hole in the O and adhere it to the Night of Navy.
It is really a beautiful card. I can't wait to try some other words and coordinating stamps.
Happy Stamping!
