SKETCH CHALLENGE #6 - ARTISTICALLY INKED
This is the sketch challenge for this week. It is pretty simple but sometimes simple becomes more difficult to figure out.
When I saw the Artistically Inked stamp set, I didn't fall in love with the flower, I fell in love with the abstract background stamp, at least that was how I saw it. I love the DSP that coordinates with this but I would be safe to say, so does everyone else. It has been on backorder pretty consistently. I have put off doing a class with it because of the backorder situation.
Today I decided to pull out Artistically Inked and play with it. This is my answer to this sketch challenge. I have started working with Stampin' Blends & alcohol in my clubs and this looks like some of the things we have created.
Supplies & Measurements:
Cut 4 1/4 x 11 Basic White, score at 5 1/2
Cut 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 Shaded Spruce, adhere to the card front
Cut 3 x 5 Basic White, stamp with Pale Papaya & Shaded Spruce, use fine tip glue and put lines in the image, add Guilded leafing to glue (see the red arrows), wipe with a sponge to clear off excess, adhere to Shaded Spruce
Cut 1/2 x 3 1/4 Shaded Spruce, adhere across the card
Cut Basic White tag using the Tailored Tags, stamp greeting with from Artistically Inked in Shaded Spruce, adhere with Dimensionals
Tie a bow with Pale Papaya and adhere with a glue dot
