SPLENDID THOUGHTS!

Jun 02, 2022

SPLENDID THOUGHTS! That seems like the perfect title for this blog post. I have struggled with my video editor for probably a month now. I have had trouble with the sound. First the ends of my words were cut off, lately there is sound and then none for 10 seconds or so and then sound again. It is really hard to watch an instruction video with the sound going out. You may get one measurement but not the other. I have tried several different things, but none of them were working right or they would work on one video and not the next.

I think I have finally found a video editor that will work. We will see. The one I used was easy once I figured out how to get started.

So today I have the instructions for the beautiful card that I made on Stampin' Tell Tuesday using the Splendid Thoughts Bundle. This stamp bundle has not been released yet to the general public. One of the benefits of being a demonstrator is that we are able to purchase products at a discount before they are released or attend special events. This set was released early for an Online Demonstrator Only event coming up in June.

I decided to play with it a little before hand and this is what I created.

Measurements:

Cut Basic White 11 x 4 1/4, score at 5 1/2
Cut (2) 5 x 3 3/4 Crumb Cake, one for the inside one for the front

Cut (2) 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White, one for the inside, the other you will cut the largest circle using the Stylish Styles, stamp greeting in Crumb Cake, adhere to the Crumb Cake, do not put adhesive near the bottom of the circle
Cut open image die with Vellum using dies in bundle, adhere to the crumb cake overlapping the Basic White at the top
Stamp two images in Tuxedo Black Momento, color with Crumb Cake and Soft Succulent light & dark, die cut using the dies in the bundle, tuck into the circle and adhere the Soft Succulent leaves to the Crumb Cake, use Dimensionals on the Crumb Cake image

Finish off with some of the beautiful Iridescent Pearls

This is the most adorable stamp set! The characters are so cute you won't want to miss out on this one. It also has dies that coordinate with it to make it even more adaptable.

The Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack makes amazing, quick and easy cards. Just create a card layout of your choice, add complimentary Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the flower image you chose and you are well on your way to creating a beautiful card. You will need a few basics to take your card to the next level. Here I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies, Eyelet Embossing Folder & Natures Sweetness Designer Series Paper. The greeting came from So Sincere.

For this one I used Summer Splash the last of the five colors in the 2024-26 In Color Collection. I used Trusty Tools Bundle and Happy Little Things to bring this color to life. This coordinates well with Pool Party, as suggested by the name, and Pretty Peacock.

This is the fourth of the five new 2024-26 In Colors Petunia Pop. I love this color and it fits in well with our color families. Here I have added Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia to the card as accents. I did partial die cutting using the Simply Zinnia Bundle and the Stampin' Cut Machine.
