Strawberry Cake Pop Up

Have you ever eaten a cake with real Strawberries on top? They are yummy and so is this card! We have been doing pop up cards recently on my team so all I did was add a circle to the front and some embossing with the New Painted Texture Embossing folder and looks like a cake! In the second sample I used the flowers from the True Love DSP

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut 4 1/4 x 11 Basic White, score at 5 1/2
Cut 4 x 8 1/2 Basic White, score at 2 1/8, 4 1/4 & 6 3/8, burnish on the score lines,  emboss the two center sections with the  Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder

Cut (2) 5 1/4 x 4 Just Jade, adhere one to the front by putting adhesive in the center of the circle and one to the inside of the card. The one on the inside won't cut but it will give you a great outline to put the die in and cut again

Emboss the front piece of Just Jade with the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder

Attach the 2nd piece of Just Jade to the inside of the card lining up the hole



Cut plate using Foil of your choice and the largest scallop oval from Layering Oval Dies

Stamp the greeting in VersaMark on a scrap of Basic Black, emboss with White Embossing Powder, die cut with 2nd from the center of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies

Stamp 7 of the strawberry image in Poppy Parade, fussy cut 6 of them, punch 1 using the Strawberry Punch

Stamp 1 stem in Just Jade, punch
