Timeless Tulips

Jan 25, 2020

One of my favorite stamp sets

This is one of my favorite stamp sets from the New 2020 Mini Catalog. I always love that Stampin' Up! seems to bring out some fun flowers in the spring and I just love the tulips.

At my card class earlier this month we did a card with a belly band. Some of the gals though the card was much prettier with the belly band attached to the card. So instead of making it with a belly band the made a fake belly band and attached the band to the card and then glued the image on one side only on the card. I followed their suite and this is the card we did for our Team Meeting this month. We can all learn from our customers and friends.

Stamps: Timeless Tulips Bundle

Instructions:
Start with Basic Black cardstock cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, with cardstock landscape (on the 8 1/2" side) score at 2 1/8 from each edge
Stamp the large tulip on the 3 1/4 x 2 1/8 Whisper White with Gorgeous Grape
Stamp it again on a scrap of Whisper White and punch with the Tulip Builder Punch
Stamp the stem &  leaves in Granny Apple Green
Stamp the greeting
For the inside of the card. Stamp the two smaller Tulips on the left side at the bottom in Gorgeous Grape
Stamp the stem and leaves in Granny Apple Green
Adhere the 4 1/8 x 2 (2) Golden Honey DSP on the two front panels
Wrap a 1" x 8 1/2" Gorgeous Grape cardstock around the middle of the card to make it look like a belly band
Put the 3 1/4 x 2 1/8 Whisper White with the image on a Gorgeous Grape that has been cut with the  Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Attach by gluing to the left side
Finish off by adhering the Tulip that you punched with the Tulip Builder Punch to the front with a dimensional and tie a bow from the Crinkled Seam Binding

I hope you have fun making this simple yet beautiful card!

This is the most adorable stamp set! The characters are so cute you won't want to miss out on this one. It also has dies that coordinate with it to make it even more adaptable.

The Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack makes amazing, quick and easy cards. Just create a card layout of your choice, add complimentary Designer Series Paper that coordinates with the flower image you chose and you are well on your way to creating a beautiful card. You will need a few basics to take your card to the next level. Here I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies, Eyelet Embossing Folder & Natures Sweetness Designer Series Paper. The greeting came from So Sincere.

For this one I used Summer Splash the last of the five colors in the 2024-26 In Color Collection. I used Trusty Tools Bundle and Happy Little Things to bring this color to life. This coordinates well with Pool Party, as suggested by the name, and Pretty Peacock.

This is the fourth of the five new 2024-26 In Colors Petunia Pop. I love this color and it fits in well with our color families. Here I have added Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia to the card as accents. I did partial die cutting using the Simply Zinnia Bundle and the Stampin' Cut Machine.
