On this card I used the Hand-Penned Bundle and the Encircled Beauty Dies. I saw this technique on 2BigGirlsCrafting and studied it closely. The DSP on the right appears to be folded over. However, it is not. They also used metric measurements and I wanted it in inches so I set out to change it. It was not easy! The only way I could make it work was to cut off 1/8" after I had created the folded paper strip. Be sure to watch the video below.
MEASUREMENTS:
Cut 5 1/2 x 6 5/8 Highland Heather, score @ 4 1/4 with the 6 5/8" side along the top
Cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Basic White, adhere to inside of the card, centering
Cut 1 5/8 x 5 1/4 Highland Heather, adhere to the right side of the Basic White, leaving 1/16" white around
Cut 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 Basic White ( this is what you will use to create the Twisted Paper Technique), mark every 3/4" on the two long edges
Cut 3/4 x 2 1/2 (8, 4 of each design), adhere these to the Basic White diagonally, watch the video
Front:
Cut 2 1/4 x 5 3/8 Basic White, adhere to front left flap
Cut 2 1/8 x 5 1/4 Highland Heather, emboss with Textile Texture Embossing Folder
