Barn Door

Casing the Catalog

This card is cased from the new 2018 Occasions Catalog. I love this set and can't wait to play with it some more. Just a few tips! #1 On page 5 of the 2018 Occasion catalog is a new embossing folder that will emboss your cardstock to give it the look of siding. If you don't have that embossing folder yet, you could score every 1/2" on your Simply Scoring Tool. #2 Purchase some #6 washers from the local hardware store you will need 8 for each card. #3 Be sure to attach the greeting before you put the door on. #4 Instead of using dimensionals on the back of the siding I used Foam Adhesive Strips. They raised it a little higher and they made it much easier than dimensionals.

Stamp Set is called Barn Door!
Cut 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Pool Party
Cut 4 x 5 1/4 Pool Party and emboss with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (or score with the Simply Scoring Tool). Then cut with the die.
Cut 2 1/2 x 4 Crumb Cake. Stamp the door on it with Early Espresso. Cut out with the die after stamping
Cut 2 x 2 Garden Green. Stamp the wreath in Garden Green. Cut this out with the wreath die
Scrap of Whisper White and stamp the flowers 2 times. Once in Crushed Curry and once in Calypso Coral. Cut these out with the 3 flower die and the Calypso Coral with the individual flower die.
Die cut the rail, door handle and hardware in Basic Black cardstock
Cut 2 1/2 x 4 Whisper White. Stamp the greetings in Early Espresso.

Attach 2 of the washers together using a Mini Dimensional. You will need 4 of these sets. Put them into the slits you made with the die. Position them and attach to the door using glue dots.

This set will be available January 3 - May 31

Happy Stamping!!

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
