Boho Indigo Medley Treat Bag

A CUTE AND QUICK TREAT BAG

This little bag is quick and easy to create and great to have on hand. They lay flat to store so you can make up a bunch of them and keep them for a special little thank you, just thinking of you, table decoration or what ever occasion arises. It is a great way to use up some of that DSP (Designer Series Paper) that we fall in love with then save for years because we might use it.

Supplies:
6 x 6 DSP (I used Boho Indigo Medley)
3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Coordinating Cardstock (I used Misty Moonlight)
2 1/2 x 6 Coordinating Cardstock (I used Very Vanilla)

Ink:
Misty Moonlight

Embellishments:
Clear Epoxy Droplets

Tools:
Die Cutting Machine
Medium Daisy Punch
Stitched Shapes Dies
Magnet (Purchased at K&J Magnets 1/32 x 3/8)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Score the 6 x 6 DSP on two opposite sides at 1 1/2
Score the 6 x 6 on the two other sides at 2 5/8
Burnish all fold lines
Fold the 2 5/8" line to the 1 1/2" line (for this you may want to watch the video). Do this on all four sides
Place one magnet in the center under where the two sides fold in using a glue dot
Put glue on the corner sections only of the flaps and adhere by folding directly onto the rest of the paper
Die cut the 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 Coordinating Cardstock with the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies
This circle is just a hair smaller than 3" so center it and score at 1 1/2
Fold it over and attach to the end of the bag without the magnet
Place the magnet on the outside of the bag. It will jump into position. Put a glue dot on it and press the cardstock circle "lid" onto it to pick up the magnet.
I decorated mine with the daisy punch and finished off with a little Clear Epoxy Droplet.

Today I wanted to show you how you can used this fun stamp & die set and not use the Designer Series Paper. I love the coordinating Designer Series Paper but I think there are about a million posts on the interned showing how to use the DSP so I wanted to reach outside the box and use something else. I selected the wood grain DSP from Beautiful Gallery and I love the way it came out. Be sure to download the free Project Sheet below

This card uses the beautiful new Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection to create a fun Backbend Easel Card. This is one of the many Suites that are on sale during the month of June 2025.

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Be sure to download the Free Project Sheet for all the measurements.

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. You will find all these products listed below along with Free Project Sheet.

No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold
