CUP OF TEA CALENDAR STAND

February 1, 2023

I did this fun little project for my Facebook live today. Considering all the problems I had today with the project not coming together easily, I think the project came out really cute and I am happy with it.

This is a fun and easy little project. You can get two stands out of a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock. Just be careful what you decide to put next to the calendar. You don't have a lot of room!

Cut 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Pool Party, score with the 8 1/2" side at the top at 1/2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 5 1/2, fold the center score lines Mountain, valley to form the stand portion
I chose to decorate the front before putting the stand together
Cut 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 Basic Black, adhere along the bottom section of the front panel, the front panel is the one with the 1/2 score line,

Cut 5 1/2 x 1 1/4 DSP, adhere to black panel
Cut 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 Basic Black attach the calendar from
Taylored Expressions to that panel, adhere to the front of the stand
Die cut the cup in Basic Black using Cup of Tea dies
Die cut the cup design in Basic White using Cup of Tea dies attach to black cup
Stamp the 2 leaves in Pool Party, then one more after stamping off to make it lighter, die cut, attach two to the front of the stand, attach the 3rd to the back of the tea cup
Attach the tea cut to the front of the stand using Dimensionals

Put Tear N Tape on the 1/2 strip, attach to the back by laying it down folding the bottom in. They should meet up perfectly
Tie a bow and attach with a Mini Glue Dot to the bottom of the plants!!

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
