HOW TO CREATE 14 QUICK CARDS WITH 1 SHEET OF DSP

In this blog post I will show you how I made 14 quick and easy, not to mention how beautiful they are, in just about 30 minutes with only one sheet of your favorite Designer Series Paper. For this I selected the new Sale-A-Bration Flower & Field Designer Series Paper. This paper will be gone in just a few days. I used the stamps from Pretty Perennials #154435 (pg 31, J-J Catalog), and the Pierced Blooms Dies #154312 (pg 45, J-J Catalog)

I precut my flowers, bows and papers from the colors in the Designer Series Paper


INSTRUCTIONS

Cut (5) 4 1/4 x 11 Basic Black, score at 5 1/2

Cut (9) 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Basic Black, score @ 4 1/4
Cut (14) 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White, 5 greetings are stamped greeting in Tuxedo Black Momento at the bottom in portrait position, 9 are stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento landscape position. Stamp additional greetings in accent colors (same as cardstock below)

Cut (5) 3 7/8 x 2 1/2 accent cardstock (this is one of the colors in the DSP, you can use all different colors)

Cut (9) 5 1/8 x 2 1/8 accent cardstock (this is one of the colors in the DSP, you can use all different colors)

Cut (5) 3 3/4 x 2 3/8 Designer Series Paper

Cut (9) 5 x 2 Designer Series Paper


Add 3 die cut flowers from the Pierced Blooms Dies and a bow in coordinating colors, put a heart in the center of each using the Resin Hearts


INSIDE
Cut (14) 4  x 5 1/4 Basic White, if you have an additional sheet of cardstock you can cut 1/2" strips to adhere to the bottom or

I took my left over flowers that I cut and attached one in the corner with a glue dot, added a heart from the Resin Hearts

Kintsugi Inspirations

Today I wanted to show you how you can used this fun stamp & die set and not use the Designer Series Paper. I love the coordinating Designer Series Paper but I think there are about a million posts on the interned showing how to use the DSP so I wanted to reach outside the box and use something else. Metallic Textures Rub Ons

For this card I started out with the beautiful 2025-27 In Color Strawberry Slush. I used the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape and die to cut the flowers. I added the beautiful Metallic Texture Rub Ons to add bling to the card. You will find all of these things in my Stampin' Up! store . Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape

This sweet card uses the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape with the die to cut the flowers. I attached the tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die. This made for a bunch of beautiful flowers to attach to the front and inside of the card. The greeting is from Year of Flowers. I added the beautiful little Iridescent Pearls to the centers of the flowers . The background is embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder. Impressions Abloom Pop Up

No, I am not stuck on this set of dies, however, this idea came to me through an indirect route and I of course had to change it up and do it a little differently. The Thankful Garden Bundle or the Pretty Floral Bundle could be used for this idea. Actually any set of die cut flowers would work. I used an 11 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White for my card base so the card opens at the top instead of the side to create a beautiful and fun easel fold
