MISTY MOONLIGHT IS GOING AWAY

March 29, 2022

Today I am doing a blog post without a video. That is really unusual for me but I have laryngitis, so I have almost no voice! I didn't want to miss my Facebook live so I found a work around. If you came from my Facebook post for today you understand what I am saying.  I can still create even when I am sick.

As of May 2, Misty Moonlight which is one of our 2020-22 In Colors will be going away. So today I wanted to use it in a simple card. I did use a retired paper, Simply Marbelous from 2022 Sale-A-Bration but you could use the Waves of the Ocean 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper and it would be just as beautiful.

Measurements & Instructions
Cut 4 1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White, score at 5 1/2
Cut 4 x 5 1/4 Misty Moonlight, adhere to the front of the card
Cut 3 3/4 x 5 Basic White, using the Beautiful Shapes Dies, cut with the largest Hexagon in the center with a flat edge parallel to the bottom, stamp greeting from Happy & Heartfelt in Misty Moonlight
Using a scrap cut the flower from the Honeybee Blooms Dies, glue through the opening to the back of the Basic White
Cut 3 x 3 Window Sheet, adhere to back of Basic White
Cut 3 x 3 Simply Marbelous Designer Series Paper or Waves of the Ocean, adhere to the back of the Window Sheet with your favorite side showing through the opening, adhere this sheet to the Misty Moonlight on the front of the card

Using the Misty Moonlight from the Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack, tie a little bow and adhere with a glue dot

There you have a simple yet elegant card to say thank you

My favorite part of my job is creating. It doesn't always come easy but this month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained beautiful Alcohol Ink papers. The papers were so beautiful and the kit included nine card bases which had the design on the front and back of the card. When cutting them apart you were able to create 18 card fronts. I started designing by cutting them apart and then went from there. Throughout the week I will post 3 cards each day for seven days that were all made with April 2025 Paper Pumpkin Inked Occasions

This is the final card in a series from the Impressions Abloom. If you have not see the others check my blog. This is the first one I created using Timid Tiger but for my Facebook Live I wanted to use the new In Colors.

All this week I will be posting cards created with products remaining from my recent event. This card was inspired by the card below that I created for that event. I had a focus on creating masculine cards and when I was done with the event I had a set of the undone cards remaining. I had received the New Impressions Abloom which is only available if you are a Demonstrator until May 1, 2025. After that date it will be available to anyone. I used the products that were in the packet to create this card. Of course I added a few extra things. I will give you all the instructions on the page including measurements and products used for both projects
